A charming original still life watercolour, signed by artist Lorraine Lewitzka and dated 1998, presented under glass in its original-style timber frame with gilt detailing and a wide neutral mount.
The composition depicts a wonderfully evocative collection of objects arranged across a tabletop, including an open wooden cigar box, cigars, a green glass spirit bottle, a small glass of red wine, ceramic cup and saucer, and a decorative cigar ashtray. Painted in a warm, muted palette, the work has a distinctly traditional character with beautifully observed details throughout.
The subject matter gives the piece the atmosphere of a classic European bar, study or gentleman’s club, making it particularly well suited to a home bar, study, library, dining room or layered gallery wall.
Measurements: TBC
Please note that this is a vintage work and the frame, mount and artwork may display minor signs of age and previous use, contributing to the individual character of the piece.
